Street cleanup Saturday! Ye olde Rotary eClub of the Willamette Valley had a fun (and productive) morning bagging trash on Commercial St. SE and under the Pringle Creek Bridge (holy garbage, Batman!). Maybe the Oregon Legislature could add a $0.10 deposit for cigarette butts? 😭 If you're interested in making your community a better place, reach out and connect with us -- membership is open and we'd love to chat!

We hit the streets of Salem this morning for our quarterly Adopt a Street clean up. Commercial St SE (between Trade St and Superior St) looks positively delightful, and we even managed to dodge most of the rain! Bonus points for the extra credit work under Commercial St along Pringle Creek.

Several local students from Salem-Keizer Public Schools (South Salem High School, Howard Street Charter School, and Battle Creek Elementary) joined us to cross off volunteer hours and support their community. The morning was especially sweet thanks to our great neighbors at Daynight Donuts who fueled our adventures with fresh coffee and donuts!

We'll be back for another round in June!
