Tomorrow starts Week 1 of 3 for The Menopause Reset at the Community Center. This series looks very educational, don't miss out!

Healthy Dent County Fitness Center -
"Ladies, if you’ve been wondering why your body doesn’t seem to respond the way it used to… if you’re struggling with hot flashes, poor sleep, weight gain, brain fog, anxiety, low energy, or just don’t quite feel like yourself anymore… this series is for you.

Join us tomorrow at 5:30 PM at the Salem Community Center at the Armory for Week 1 of The Menopause Reset with April Greener, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC.

This isn’t just for women currently in menopause. If you’re in your 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s—or beyond—there is valuable information to help you understand what your body is doing and what you can do about it.

Bring your mom, daughter, sister, friend, or coworker. The more we understand, the better we can support ourselves and one another."

Your public library is a cooling center.

The building is open from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday; 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM on Thursday; and 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday.

Anyone is welcome to spend time in the air-conditioning. No library card is necessary.

We just want to remind everyone of all of the fundraising opportunities that are coming up soon for Zach Moser, who is currently navigating a cancer diagnosis.

“We’ve Got Your Back, Zach” will be held Friday, June 19th from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Salem Community Center @ the Armory and will include an auction, dessert auction, concessions, T-shirts, community support and dinner. A plate of fish & fries or pulled pork sandwiches & fries will be $10.

Organizers are still seeking auction item donations, dessert donations, monetary sponsorships for food and t-shirts, and businesses or individuals willing to support the event in any way.

Check out Healthy Dent County Fitness Center to see some of the awesome auction items that have already been donated.

In addition to the auctions, there will also be a pickleball tournament on Saturday, June 20th beginning at 10:30 am. Registration will be $25 per player. A competitive 3v3 basketball tournament will be held Saturday, June 27th beginning at 10:00 am, with registration at $60 per team.

All proceeds from the fundraisers will go to the Moser family.
