Here's a couple of health resources for this week!

The Dent County Health Center is having their Fall Health Fair this Friday the 16th from 7 am to 1 pm.

Starting Wednesday the 14th, you can join the FREE 4 week virtual Dining with Diabetes classes, designed for adults with diabetes or pre-diabetes, as well as anyone caring for someone with diabetes.

Do you have one hour a week to spare to be a positive influence in a child's life? Dent County Mentoring would love to have you!

Council for a Healthy Dent County provides more details below -

One hour a week can make a BIG difference!

Dent County Mentoring is looking for caring adults who are ready to encourage, support, and make a positive impact in the life of a local student.

Mentoring opportunities are available for 3rd–5th grade students at:

📚 R-1: Time TBD
📚 R-2: Tuesdays, 3:30–4:30 PM
📚 R-4: Wednesdays, 3:45–4:45 PM
📚 R-80: Thursdays, 3:30–4:30 PM

Whether you’re helping with homework, playing games, or simply being someone they can count on, your time can help build confidence, strengthen social skills, and create a lasting connection. Just ONE hour a week can help change a child’s life!
