Wanna help make someone’s day?
Donate just $6 to help fund a pizza party down at the pavilion.
Pizza, although not the most nutritious is a treat that many of the residents here at the fairgrounds don’t have the privilege to enjoy. Please help lift some spirits by making a donation.
Each $6 you donate will contribute towards 1 box of pizza. Each box you donate will have your name written on it.
Thank you all and God bless.

Local policy makers are pushing legislation to end the emergency measure currently set in place that allows for city park camping. They believe this measure is responsible for the recent spike in COVID-19 cases. I think this is an ignorant way of dealing with this situation and we must make our voices heard as a community and support one another so we can all live a better future. Please reach out so we can get a petition started. I need at least 50 signatures for any of our voices to even be heard. Let’s rebuild this community together.

Salem City Council rolls out long-term plan to "unwind" its emergency declaration allowing homeless encampments\u00a0at two city parks.

Mission Statement

Objective:
- Clear underpass on market St
- Develop individual relationships
- Create a personalized plan for each individual
- Camp Hope

Camp Hope:
Petition for 1 acre lease of land located near walking bridge in “Minto Brown park”
Requires $150,000 in funding.
Will provide 40 bicycles, 40 tents, 40 air mattresses, labor, essentials.
The land will be plowed and flattened.
A layout will be created with 30 organized camp grounds that are numbered and paired with each tenant.
Each living quarters will have a complementary tent and way of transportation (Bicycle)
The request for unlimited bathroom access at the nearby restrooms is possible but not necessary with additional funds for portable restrooms at the campsite.
The 30 living quarters will be divided in 5 zones all being represented by a sponsor. The tenants will have 24/7 contact with their sponsors and will have personalized one on one help their whole stay at camp Hope. This isn’t a permanent living solution but more like a place to stay while you get your life back on track. Each sponsor will help their group individually with resume building, rides to appointments and job opportunities.
The location many homeless people are in right now is extremely dangerous and unsanitary.
With a structured campsite with rules and community help, people will be open to far more opportunities than where they are at now.

Sunday dinner:
Every Sunday with $200 we can supply each individual located underneath the market street overpass with a hot bowl of fresh chicken soup and a pair of FRESH DRY SOCKS
