Lonestar Guardians Disaster Response was born in the aftermath of the devastating July 4th Flood. What began as a group of ordinary volunteers who couldn’t bear to walk away became something greater—united in mind, heart, and purpose. We are neighbors helping neighbors, standing together when disaster strikes. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to bring relief, hope, and strength

to communities in crisis. Built on compassion and resilience, the Guardians are committed to swift response, hands-on aid, and long-term recovery support. Every action we take is guided by our belief that no one should face disaster alone. Together, we are more than volunteers—we are Guardians.

Floodwaters from Goat Creek spilled over a Kerrville road early Thursday, pushing water into a family’s home and leaving them to watch as nearly all of their property was swept away.

We offer our sincerest condolences to those impacted by the Hill Country Floods. Serving the Hill Country was an honor. Just like July 4th is a day of independence, it has also become a day that will be etched in memory forever.
