Before finding Voices of Hope for Aphasia, Eamonn says he spent most of his days talking only to his dog.

Living with aphasia can feel isolating, especially when communication becomes difficult and the world around you keeps moving. But after seeing Voices of Hope for Aphasia on TV, Eamonn decided to give it a try and meet others who could relate to what he was experiencing.

Now, he’s part of a community that continues growing and encouraging one another every step of the way. A place where conversations happen without judgment and where every word is met with patience, understanding, and support.

You can help support stories like his by joining us on July 1 for , our annual crossword gala benefiting people living with aphasia. It’s a night of fun, connection, and giving back to a truly meaningful cause.
