Healing families in the wake of child loss. We are dedicated to providing families with funding for healing resources and costs related to child loss.

Warrior Parents United (WPU) is a registered 501(C)(3) nonprofit, charitable organization dedicated to providing healing resources, emotional support, and empowerment for families who have experienced the death of a child. Warrior Parents United was founded by mothers who had experienced the death of a child firsthand. They recognized a tremendous void for both the emotional and financial support for parents unable to meet immediate needs like funeral costs, headstones or markers, and after-care requirements including emotional & financial considerations following the death of a child.

Today is about OU red, birthday energy, and celebrating the guy who still makes sure his mom (and so many of us!) knows he’s around. Frequently. 🤣

Today we’re holding Nikki, our amazing Warrior Parents United Executive Director, especially close as she marks Leif’s 10th anniversary in spirit.

We didn’t know Leif in his physical life, but we know him now through Nikki, through the stories she shares, and through the unmistakable ways his presence still makes itself known. And make no mistake, we have absolutely zero doubt that he is still here!

Ten years in spirit does not mean ten years gone. It means ten years of a relationship continuing in a different form. Ten years of signs, connection, love, and moments to remind Nikki that Leif is still very much part of her life.

Today we honor Leif, we surround Nikki with love, and we celebrate a bond that did not end when he left his physical body. 💜💜💜

We honor Bijan, the life he lived, and the love that continues to surround him. And we send extra love to his mom, who carries him with her every single day.
