🇺🇸 40 MORE MARINES ASIST TRAINED!! 🇺🇸

What a GREAT two days with 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion!

Their command made one thing very clear: mental health and su***de prevention MATTER. They gave their Marines two full days to learn, engage, practice, and build real-life su***de intervention skills.

And now… 40 more Marines are ready to recognize the signs, have the hard conversation, and step in when it matters most.

Special thank you to LtCol Monday for making the introductions! Greg Watson for being a great facilitator, CREDO MCI-East - Camp Lejeune for your continued support, the LtCol Ludlow and SgtMaj Manske for trusting us with your Marines, Yaseline, Ron and the unbelievable Tara Limbaugh… thank you for all you do, Sandi Warnock-Wessel for the girlie girl self care items and snacks, Mark Van trees for the 5 hour energy and of course our snack donor that wants to remain a secret! Lol! Love you all! ❤️ 🇺🇸

THIS is awesome. Soooo, I called a 1stSgt yesterday to ask him if he would allow us to come out and host an ASIST workshop for his Marines. He jumped on it! Said there have been some mental health concerns and one of his Marines recently tried to take his own life…. BUT… and I quote “ one of my other Marines recognized there was an issue, talked to him and now he is getting some help”
THAT Marine that saved the other Marine…was one of Anthony’s buddies from 29 Palms -someone he had deployed with! That incredible Marine had taken ASIST a couple of years ago!
Damn I love this story!! ❤️

We had a great time volunteering with the TMF Tampa Chapter at their back-to-school event for our local active duty Army recruiters and their families.

Backpacks, pizza, Chuck E. Cheese, and a meaningful project reminding us that Character Does Matter made for a fun afternoon.

A big shout-out to Jackie Wallis June for doing an amazing job, and thank you!

The best part? Watching our recruiters take a break from work, laugh with their kids, and simply enjoy being together. 🇺🇸❤️

We are excited to welcome Tanya Mort as the Keynote Speaker of our St. Petersburg Out of the Darkness Walk!

Tanya Mort is the Founder and President of the Sgt. Anthony Patrick Muhlstadt Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to military su***de prevention, intervention, and leadership development. Following the loss of her son, Sgt. Anthony Muhlstadt, a United States Marine, to su***de in 2021, Tanya transformed her grief into purpose by creating a foundation focused on ensuring service members, veterans, and military families know they are never alone.

Under her leadership, the foundation has trained hundreds of active-duty service members, veterans, and family members in ASIST (Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training) at military installations across the country. Tanya is a certified ASIST trainer, passionate advocate for military mental health, and frequent speaker who shares Anthony's story to inspire connection, hope, and action.

Above all, Tanya is a proud mother who believes that healing begins with meaningful conversations, genuine relationships, and the courage to show up for one another. Through her work, she strives to honor Anthony's legacy by helping others find purpose, connection, and a reason to keep moving forward.

Join us as Tanya brings her heart and her voice to our community!

The people you serve beside may never say, “I’m not okay.”

That’s why ASIST teaches practical skills to recognize when someone is struggling, engage with confidence, and help keep them safe

If someone you know is starting a new chapter….

A recruit. A young Marine. A college freshman. A new employee. Someone chasing a dream.

Be the person who reaches out. Encourage them. Check in. Let them know someone believes in them.

Ten years ago today, Anthony (17 years old) entered the Delayed Entry Program. Looking back at this photo reminds me that every journey begins with hope, purpose, and people who believe in us.

Sometimes the smallest connection can make the biggest difference.

Semper Here—You are never alone.

We were honored to spend the last two days with the U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion- Tampa during our LivingWorks ASIST (Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training) workshop.

This group brought incredible experience to the room, with leaders who have served between 8 and 15 years in the Army. Their willingness to engage, learn, and strengthen their ability to support their Soldiers speaks volumes about the culture they’re building.

Su***de prevention isn’t about checking a box—it’s about equipping leaders with the confidence and skills to recognize when someone is struggling and step in when it matters most.

Thank you for your commitment to your Soldiers and for allowing the Sgt. Anthony Patrick Muhlstadt Foundation to be part of your mission.

Taking su***de prevention to the mountaintops. 🏔️💜

Our combat veteran and first responder are climbing the mountains of Ecuador as part of Operation Elevate—carrying a message of hope, connection, and the reminder that no one has to walk alone.

Operation Elevate is a separate fundraising initiative with a simple purpose: 45% supports future su***de prevention programs (ASIST and direct support) through the Sgt. Anthony Patrick Muhlstadt Foundation, 45% funds the expeditions that carry this mission around the world, and 10% supports marketing and awareness efforts.

Every step has a purpose. Every climb starts another conversation.

30 DAY MISSION 🇺🇸

From July 1st–30th, every dollar raised by Foul Weather Warriors Foundation will go toward sending as much support as possible to the boys on the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines.

FWWF is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded and operated by Marines and Sailors from 1st Battalion 8th Marines, and we’re calling on the rest of the military community to help make this happen.

Right now, V3/2 is sifting through the rubble from the earthquake in Venezuela. While they’re out there doing the job, we’re going to do ours and send them the support they deserve.

We need the community’s help to make this mission successful. Give to an organization that shows you firsthand where the money is going, and feel good knowing your contribution is making a real difference for the people defending you.

To donate, go to the Zeffy account listed in the bio of our Instagram and Facebook accounts. No donation is too small, and everything helps. It will all go toward the mission.

Thank you to our sponsors Sgt. Anthony Patrick Muhlstadt Foundation, Blue Star Mothers of Greater Tampa Bay, Fuel 1 Team, MOS Energy Pouches, Cartridge & Crown Watches, and The Gunfighter Group for supporting this mission.

Hopefully, you’ll be the next to donate.

Donate. Share. Help us send it.

Happy 250 America!!

From watching the big fireworks displays… to Anthony and William shooting Roman candles at each other (much to my horror 😅)… to watching fireworks with Anthony over FaceTime while he was deployed…

This 4th of July, enjoy the fireworks, but don’t forget to connect.

Call someone.
FaceTime someone.
Invite someone over.
Send the text you’ve been meaning to send.

The fireworks fade. The memories and the connections we make can last a lifetime.

Happy Independence Day. Stay safe, have fun, and don’t forget to reach out.

Connection saves lives. 🇺🇸
