MBC Travelers Leadership Update

The MBC Travelers Board of Directors would like to provide a brief update regarding our recent leadership transition.

The full MBC Travelers Board of Directors has unanimously confirmed and affirmed the removal of Jennifer Pace from the position of President of MBC Travelers, effective August 19, 2026.

We recognize and appreciate Jennifer's role as the Founder of MBC Travelers and the years of passion, advocacy, and dedication she contributed to building this organization and serving the metastatic breast cancer community.

Out of respect for everyone involved, MBC Travelers will not publicly discuss internal governance matters or engage in public debate regarding this transition.

MBC Travelers remains fully operational, our mission remains unchanged, and our work continues.

Our focus is on our patients, participants, programs, sponsors, donors, upcoming travel experiences, and the community we are honored to serve.

We appreciate the kindness, patience, and continued support of the MBC Travelers community as we move forward together.

It meant so much for our MBC TRAVELERS Angel families to attend Stage 4 Strut. Your mom was so proud of you girls. She is still watching over you. And we will always be here for you

We are so grateful to Blaze Pizza for sponsoring Stage 4 Strut. They added a flyer about MBC Travelers to every pizza box that was ordered in June. They showed up for Strut, donated lunch for the crew, and even joined us at Busch Gardens Park Day the next morning. We are incredibly grateful for the support ❤️

MBC Travelers was honored to present the 2026 Hero Award to Medical Director of Natera Dr McKenzie at the Stage 4 Strut. The award reads as follows:
Dr McKenzie, Thank you for all you have done as a breast oncologist to extend the lives of breast cancer patients in Tampa Bay, and for all you do as Medical Director of Natera. Thank you for traveling with us to empower women globally. Thank you for extending the lives of Metastatic Breast Cancer patients through Signatera testing and support. We are grateful for your friendship and guidance.

Dr McKenzie replied “I’d go anywhere with you ladies”.
