We at Just Hope understand that times are rough right now. There is a lot of uncertainty, fear, and concern over DHS’s handling of the revalidation of organizations, clinics, and service providers. We are here to support you and the community at large in any way possible. Whether it’s volunteering at other organizations or providing FREE services to clients. We will continue to stand strong , show up, and keep the mission of Just Hope alive. Our mission is to save lives, no matter the cost, especially financially. Please let us know how we can support your organization and how we can support the underserved. Our doors are open give us a call or just show up.

We have not forgotten what it means to be a grassroots organization. We are here for you, regardless of how difficult things can get.

Share to anyone who is being affected by DHS’ recent actions. We need to be heard, we need to advocate, and we need to stand up for not only our organizations but our clients, our staff/volunteers, and their families. We are not something they can use as a scapegoat for their poor decisions, we are the bridge and the hope for so many people who believe their is no way out. We are the voice for our communities. Let’s show them who we are.

Just Hope will continue to offer food, clothing, services, and peer support to anyone and everyone. We made a promise that no matter what happened, we would not leave anyone struggling and without services. PEOPLE DO NOT STOP SUFFERING, BEING HOMELESS, OR DYING BECAUSE WE DON'T GET PAID. We are still open and we will continue as usual. We have not given up. They will have to force us from our office before we stop helping our community. We love you and we will keep the lights on.

As most organizations that work in the field know, DHS sent out mass termination letters recently to providers for the smallest errors. Some, we were not even aware of being a requirement. We were not allowed to correct these errors or informed of the needed changes till it was too late. For the community and those we serve, this means that we are unable to bill for the essential services we provide, which in turn is crippling to an organization. This is a devastating blow to an organization and the funding that keeps the doors open. Sure, there is an appeal process, but the amount of time it potentially could take to win the appeal may be the final nail in the coffin for certain organizations. We need to fight this. We cannot sit back and allow this to happen. We need to be heard. There are participants, clients, unhoused and underserved individuals, staff, and families that are dependent on the essential services that organizations provide. We have to do something. Please join us tomorrow and be heard. Join us to fight for every single person who relies on us and who needs us. Help us advocate for those without a voice. Help us advocate for you.
