Luther College Ballroom & Swing provides free social lessons to the students of Luther college, as well as the Decorah community. The club also provides information and opportunities to dance competitively, and has a strong competitive ballroom dance team.

Dance socials are starting up again next week! Come dance any Monday starting this Monday! We’ll be doing a different dance nearly every week, so feel free to come by anytime with no strings attached and no previous dance experience required. The dances we typically teach include (but aren’t limited to) waltz, tango, foxtrot, the cha cha, rumba, and swing, and if we have any strong requests! (It’s really chill and fun I promise).

Our Story

Luther College Ballroom & Swing provides free social lessons to the students of Luther college, as well as the Decorah community. The club also provides information and opportunities to dance competitively, and has a strong competitive ballroom dance team coached by April Dahl (http://www.dahldance.com/). In addition to throwing many dance events on campus for students, Ballroom & Swing also brings in professional dance instructors at little or no cost to dance participants.
