Episode 8 in our Flag Etiquette & History Series: Placement of the US Flag in a Parade Flag Line

When the American flag is carried in a procession with another flag or multiple flags, the U.S. Flag always holds the position of honor.

What does that mean?
✅ On the marching right (the flag's own right side or as you're looking at the flag line on the far left)
✅ In front & center when carried with a second or third line of other flags.

This tradition recognizes the United States Flag as the nation's foremost symbol of freedom, unity, and service.
