This sweet 5 year old, 100-pound Rottweiler girl is proof that the best things in life come in big, snuggly packages. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance companion who’s happiest lounging on the couch by your side, she’s your perfect match.

Despite her size, she’s a gentle soul who absolutely loves attention and will happily soak up every bit of affection you’re willing to give. Her favorite activities include napping, snuggling, watching Dog TV, and enjoying her beloved chicken feet treats. She’s a true couch potato with a calm, low-energy personality, making her an ideal companion for a relaxed household.

One of her cutest quirks is that she’s very noise-driven—she loves listening to what’s going on around her and is always curious about interesting sounds. Whether it’s the TV, a conversation, or the everyday sounds of home, she’s happy to tune in from her favorite spot on the couch.

This resilient girl has overcome a lot in her life. She successfully completed heartworm treatment and has also undergone eye removal surgery, both of which she’s handled like a champion. None of that has dimmed her loving spirit or her desire to be close to her people.

Jedi was rescued from euthanasia last year and has underwent eye removal surgery (she had an untreated infection) and full heartworm treatment. She has gained nearly 40 lbs and is sweet as can be.

She prefers lounging on the couch watching tv, to walking the block.

When a wonderful former adopter reached out wanting to add another pup to their pack, we were bummed that our current intake pause meant we couldn’t match them with one of our own. But fate had other plans! They decided to save a life by choosing a puppy scheduled for euthanasia in Memphis.

Our amazing friend Jessie Lynn Sidle (former Rescue Coordinator at MAS and current director at Germantown Animal Shelter) just happened to be road-tripping up to the Columbus Book Festival. Mario hitched a ride! 🚙💨

A massive thank you to Noadiah Noa, North America’s rescue dog Fairy Godmother, for always making the impossible, possible. ❤️

We are beyond thrilled to share that Joshua’s foster family has officially failed! Joshua is home for good! And he can in part thank his sister Spice for convincing their parents she cannot live without him 💙🐶

Joshua is deaf and came to us without any training. His foster family has successfully Housetrained Joshua, even teaching him to ring a bell to go outside. His foster dad has taught him many tricks and basic obedience though clicking vibrations.

We know it’s bad to say- but we’d been hoping for a fail since day one. Joshua hit the jack pot with their care, patience, and attention. Joshua now enjoys adventures and daily walks with his new family.

This is a dream come true and we cannot thank James and Marcela enough for choosing this special boy! 🩵

It’s a bittersweet day for us as Chad moves on to his next chapter—not with a forever family just yet, but with the amazing team at Wood County Humane Society.

If you’ve been following Chad’s journey, you know his story of abuse, near euthanasia, and attachment to our family. Because he felt so protective of us, he struggled during his meet-and-greets (often hiding or growling). As a result, he wasn’t making the progress toward finding a home that we all hoped for since he arrived in December. We realized that keeping him in his current routine where he couldn’t move forward wasn’t fair to him.

When we reached out to Wood County Humane Society, they welcomed him with open arms. They have a dedicated team and the resources needed to give Chad the specialized exposure and matchmaking he deserves to find his forever family.

Please join us in wishing Chad the absolute best of luck! We also want to send a massive thank you to the entire team—especially the Shelter Manager—at Wood County Humane Society in Bowling Green for stepping up for him.
