Look at all those coats! The community really showed up for us in a big way with all of the winter gear donations we received through our Operation Coats initiative over the past month. Thank you to all who donated, and to the businesses and organizations who hosted collection boxes!

Here’s a peek behind the scenes of how our members prepare for our distribution day. It’s a lot of work, but it’s so rewarding.

It’s so great watching a community come together to support those in need.

Tomorrow, 10/26 is our Distribution Day! If you or someone you know is in need of winter gear, stop in at The Ghostlight Theater in BH from 10-1. No one should be cold this winter! 🧥🧤🧣

Thank you Culver's in Stevensville for supporting us with a give back night, and thank you to YOU all who showed up from 5-8pm on Wednesday!

We were able to help raise over $1,000 for a great local cause supporting our youth - Girls on the Run Southwest Michigan

We’re excited to continue our support in the spring with the annual 5K they host for all of the local teams 🏃🏻‍♀️ So be sure to follow their Facebook and learn more about how they support our youth on their website: https://www.gotrswmi.org/programs

Our collection boxes will only be out for a few more days! If you’ve got coats or winter gear to donate, please bring them to one of our drop locations before Friday!

We will be working with local agency’s to distribute the coats for those in need next Monday 🧥🧣🧤

Women’s Service League’s Operation Coats provides coats and cold-weather essentials to local children and families in need. While donated coats are the heart of this program, there are always gaps—especially for children’s coats, boots, snow pants, hats, and gloves in specific sizes.

A monetary donation of any amount helps us purchase the winter gear needed most.

$5, $10, $25 or more—it all adds up to warmth for a neighbor in need.

Give what you can and help Women’s Service League ensure more children and families are ready for winter.
