Big flip in New Hampshire.

Democrat Bobbi Boudman just flipped a Republican held state House seat, defeating Republican Dale Fincher 52%–48% in a district Republicans won by 13 points in 2024.

About 4,000 voters turned out and the race was decided by roughly 165 votes.

That’s how elections change!

People show up and VOTE.

Since Donald Trump returned to office, Democrats have flipped dozens of legislative seats in special elections.

Big news out of Texas: James Talarico has won the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate.

But the result isn’t the only thing that matters,the turnout tells an even bigger story.

In the Texas primaries this week:

🗳️ About 2.3 million Democrats voted
🗳️ Around 2.0 million Republicans voted

That means Democratic turnout actually SURPASSED Republican turnout in Texas, something that almost never happens in modern Texas politics.

Why does this matter?

Because primaries are often decided by a relatively small number of voters. When people show up, they shape the direction of their party and the future of their state. When they don’t, a much smaller group decides for everyone else.

This election is a reminder of something simple but powerful:

✔️ Primaries matter
✔️ Local elections matter
✔️ Your vote matters

📣 Big Win for Democracy in Louisiana! 🇺🇸

Yesterday, Democrat Chasity Verret Martinez won a special election to represent Louisiana House District 60, beating her Republican opponent by a wide margin, about 62% to 38%. 

What makes this important? 🤔

🔹 This district voted for Donald Trump by double digits in 2024, yet Martinez still won convincingly. 

🔹 Republicans had targeted this seat as a pickup opportunity, but Democrats held it and then some, showing strong grassroots energy. 

🔹 Even though the seat was already Democratic, the result represents a significant swing back toward Democrats in a Trump leaning area, signaling shifts in local voter sentiment. 

This isn’t just a local race, it’s a sign that with strong community organizing and a focus on everyday issues, Democrats can compete and win! Even in places that lean conservative. 💪
