Did you know a data center is being proposed for Saint Joseph, Missouri? Before this happens our community deserves real answers. Wouldn't you agree?
Project Capstone / Jasper is proposing the development at 5701 & 6321 Pickett Rd. This covers roughly 130 acres of former Ag Expo land on the edge of the city. The developer, Atmosphere Data Centers is a California based company and wants to annex into Saint Joseph to move forward with the project.
Some reasonable questions we deserve to know:
How much water and electricity will this consume and what does this mean for our community?
Are the job numbers they are advertising true numbers and what does that actually look like for local residents?
Why are they pushing for annexation and what does this process mean for public input?
These questions are just a few of the many our community deserves to have answered. We deserve to know the impacts and ensure our voices are heard loudly, clearly, and freely.
