As the season winds down and conversations about next year begin, we know many families may start feeling pressure and uncertainty surrounding club baseball decisions.
At Rascals Baseball, we want to reaffirm something that is important to us: kids deserve the opportunity to finish the current season focused on being teammates, competing, and enjoying the game they love.
Our organization will continue honoring the Southwestern Illinois Baseball League's request to wait until after the SWIBL tournament concludes before holding tryouts. We believe players and families should not have to navigate the stress of future team decisions while still competing alongside their current teammates.
We understand that the timing of decisions across organizations may create questions and anxiety for some families, and we respect that every family must do what they feel is best. We simply want our players, coaches, and parents to know where we stand.
Our focus right now remains where it should be: helping kids grow, compete, and create a great experience for the remainder of this season. Next season will come soon enough.
That said, we also understand families and teams may have questions about opportunities with Rascals Baseball for next year. To help provide clarity and open communication, we will include an interest form below for players or teams who would like to learn more, express interest, or inquire about private evaluations.
This is simply a way for us to connect and communicate while allowing players to stay focused on finishing the current season the right way.
Finish the season strong. Enjoy the moments. Compete for your teammates.
