rengthens the whole premise of self-directed learning, democracy and justice within our learning community is the underlying importance of students mixing freely within all age groups. Influenced by many democratic-free models including the Sudbury Valley school, Glacier Lake School students develop the key skills needed for the fast changing world around us. Public schools control the curriculum and the students, forcing them to take standardized tests, give homework and emphasize grades. Glacier Lake school gives the control back to the kids, making them confident, happy children.
