Have you seen this mane? There may be a reward of horse kisses if you can help us find the rest of Tuck's missing mane. There are reports of alleged rough mutual grooming with another horse, but these reports have not been confirmed.

Goldi was playing a fun game of follow the leader during our Horses Healing Hearts program this morning. We are so excited to have the opportunity to partner with a new organization to provide a 6-week session program. Today was just the start and we kicked off with some activities that promoted peace and calm.

Have yoi ever wondered why it's so satisfying tc feed animals? Think of all the fun you had as a kid giving treats to animals at petting zoos or other places like that. Giving a treat to a horse is no different. Caring for animals is ingrained in us as humans as long as we're willing to listen.

Feeding animals activates the same neural pathwavs as caring for our own children, releasing those feel-good hormones like dopamine and serotonin. Is it any wonder why so many people enjoy coming to the ranch and treating our sweet herd?

We said "Happy Trails!" to another cohort this weekend. Another group of men and veterans graduated from Horse Wisdom for Heroes and, while we are sad to see them go, we are so excited for their continuing journey. 6 weeks of connection, relationship building, increases in resilience and confidence, and many leadership soft skills and they are ready for the next step.

Happy trails, gentlemen!

Do you ever have those moments where you realize you're not isolated in life? That you have a profound impact on others? In the nonprofit world you want to have an impact on others, that's part of or all of why you're in a nonprofit. But the truth is, the people we serve leave a lasting footprint on our lives. And they don't usually realize this. The two gentlemen in this photo have only been with us for 1.5 months and yet their growth and insights during the program have been so profound and stuck with us. Adam had learned to slow down after a life of too much hustle and efficiency. Anthony has learned to be more confident and assertive while staying true to himself.

We love these stories that we get to tell long after they have moved on to bigger and better things!

We are so excited!

The foundation's first ever impact report is printed and ready to go! We spent months getting this beauty full of info and photos to give an overview of the last year, as well as a bit of the history of the previous few years. And it's finally complete!

If you want to check it out, go to our homepage and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to see the digital magazine copy!

We had the immense honor and privilege of attending the unveiling of the new LYNX Public Service Bus featuring....us! We were chosen as one of 8 no profits in the region to have our logo featured on the bus for the next year! It was an awesome moment to see our logo so prominently displayed and to also recieve a beautifully framed art piece showing the phenomenal artwork on the bus for us to display in the barn.

It's been a lot of hard work and countless hours getting to where we are from being ready to open in 2020, but moments like these highlight our progress and shine a spotlight on other amazing nonprofits in Central Florida!
