♻️ Businesses follow recycling and waste-diversion practices appropriate for their area

Join Monroe County for free community workshops on food waste reduction, home composting, and local food scrap diversion opportunities.

Each event will demonstrate a worm compost bin build and raffle the built bin.

Are you a Florida Keys Local and looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community and make a difference for our oceans, beaches, and waterways?

We’re looking for passionate volunteers to join our chapter!
📅Volunteer Coordinator-
Love organizing events, connecting with people, and building community? Help us support and organize our Surfrider events and beach cleanups🌊
-Serve as main point of contact for our Surfrider Volunteers
-Represent the chapter at community events
-Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and fun volunteer community

💧 Water Quality Testing Coordinator
Become a community scientist! Help collect water samples, monitor local water quality, and contribute valuable data that helps keep our waterways clean🙌
-Serve as the main point of contact and representative for the Blue Water Task Force Program
-Help determine sampling sites based on local needs and partner input
-Coordinate and support sampling volunteers.
