Come Stitch with Us!

The White Pine Chapter of EGA is a group of 30 primary members (and 5 plural members) who meet monthly to work on our stitching skills and learn new techniques. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month and share our stitching successes and challenges. We invite you to join us if you are interested in any form of embroidery, cross stitch or needlework. Our members are varied in skills and interests and we are all working to learn new things regularly. Throughout the year we bring new projects to meetings, complete volunteer work, and occasionally host an outside teacher for a workshop or class.

Most meetings are regular Tuesday meetings where members share their finished work through TGIF (Thank God It’s Finished), and take up a new project. We don’t meet in January due to the weather, in July we gather for a community service project, in August we have a picnic and in December we celebrate the holidays with a dinner out together.

We encourage anyone interested in learning more to come to a meeting. Call Sian Owen-Cruise (734-846-2095, [email protected] - current chapter president) if you would like more information, or to let us know that you will be joining us!
