Great news! There has been a new Scout Troop and a new Cub Scout Pack established which will begin meeting in January! They are both chartered by St Rose of Lima Catholic Parish. Scoutmaster Raul and Assistant Scoutmaster Joe are committed to help lead the groups. If you would like more information, check out tomorrow’s recruitment event!

One of our Boy Scouts was very recently diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. Cayden and his family have been part of our Scout Family for many years now. Cayden is our boys camping buddy, a jokester, strong and clever. A Life Scout, Cayden is currently working on his Eagle and was inducted into the Order of the Arrow. The road ahead is long and difficult. Say a prayer, send good vibes, love the Maza family, help as you are able.

This morning the Boy Scouts hosted a water booth for Gila Hank’s Youth Sprint Triathalon. Beautiful morning for a race - great service Scouts!

Scouts chilled out in the snow at Shannon Campgroud! After fire starting and foil pack dinners, everyone made it through a cold night! While the snow was not as plentiful as past years, the temp was lower than normal! Great fun on the mountain. Good job Scouts!

This morning the scouts set out early to cycle from Duncan to Safford as part of their Cycling Badge! Lots of hills, lots of refueling, lots of fun! So proud of these youth!

The Boy Scouts embraced a new Patrol yell for camp! Our newest scouts voted to become the Omnipotent Ostrich Patrol! Since afew of our newer scouts were missing, the 5x5 Patrol adopted the cheer of their scout brothers!

The Maverick Camporee was a success! Five Scouts headed up Friday and 2 more were able to join early Saturday morning along with 3 adult leaders. For many of the youth, this was their very first camp out! Scout participated in a variety of games and challenges. Sunday dawned wet and rainy adding a whole new camping experience!
