Table to Table rescues fresh, healthy surplus food that would otherwise be wasted and delivers it to agency partners, including soup kitchens, homeless shelters and senior facilities that serve nutritious meals to the hungry. Table to Table is a community based food rescue program that collects prepared and perishable food that would otherwise be wasted and delivers it to organizations that serve

the hungry in Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Passaic counties. We “rescue” food from over 150 donors (supermarkets, distributors, restaurants) and deliver it the same day free of charge to over 200 community organizations including soup kitchens, homeless shelters, after-school programs and homes for the elderly.

The 16th annual Behind The Seams Fashion Show was a tremendous success!

The generous support we received will underwrite us rescuing enough nutritious food for 2 MILLION HEALTHY MEALS for neighbors in need throughout Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, and Passaic counties! Food that would otherwise have been wasted will now nourish our community.

We hope you were able to join us for a night of fun, food and fashion — all to support our 26-year mission of rescuing food, reducing waste, and relieving hunger!

This summer, college students can make a real impact with Table to Table’s I-Rescue App by helping rescue fresh, nutritious food and delivering it to neighbors facing food insecurity across Northern New Jersey.

Each rescue takes about an hour and fits easily into your summer schedule — whether you’re home from school, working part-time, or looking to earn community service hours.

Our Executive Director Heather Thompson and Vice President of Operations Julie Anne Kinner are wrapping up their visit to ReFED's Food Waste Solutions Summit! 🎤 🥦 🥕

Going to the The University of North Carolina at Charlotte's campus to learn about their incredible Zero Waste Football initiative, a little presentation on gourmet cheese and lessons we learned about food date labeling during the Summit's , and networking with colleagues from across the country at a special reception for ReFED Catalytic Grantees, which kicked off our food upcycling project with Matriark Foods several years ago.

We've learned, connected, and celebrated our collective commitment to eliminating food waste across the entire supply chain! 👏
