FACCC President Sarah Thompson joined the MiraCosta Community College District Board of Trustees yesterday afternoon to welcome newly appointed Superintendent/President Dr. Lennor M. Johnson and highlight the importance of strong partnerships between faculty, unions, district leaders, and governing boards.

Last week, FACCC President Sarah Thompson and Pawfessor ZACCC Twist 🐻 joined the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges Board of Directors meeting!

ZACCC made the rounds with ASCCC Executive Director Kim Tran and board members Luke Lara, Erik Woodbury, Jerome Hunt, and Mark Edward Osea. We’re grateful for opportunities like these to strengthen connections across California’s community colleges.

Our second Great Teachers Seminar of the year wrapped up yesterday at Asilomar Conference Grounds, and we’re still smiling!

We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us and brought their ideas, energy, and enthusiasm to GTS Monterey, and to our incredible facilitators who made the week so special. We can’t wait to do it all again in 2027!
