Japanese Student Cultural Exchange

Japanese Student Cultural Exchange Cultural Homestay is where Japanese High School students are matched with American families for a short three and a half week stay. He was our son in 1986.

What did you do over the summer? Well, your family can have an awesome experience hosting one of our students from Japan and your child will have something different than all their friends to write about. I have been hosting and placing/teaching students from Japan since 1986. We have a new experience every year with a new son/daughter that becomes a part of our family. This summer our very first

student's wife and 9 year old son are coming to stay with me. I really enjoy matching families with students and watching their relationship grow. It is the highlight of my summer and it could yours too. You just need to open your home and your hearts to this experience. Many of our families have made hosting an annual tradition but every year our need for new families grows. The experience for the host families and the students is so meaningful the students return to Japan with lasting memories and lifelong relationships. They share these memories and experiences with their friends which increases the popularity of our program and the growing need for more families. Students attend classes Mon - Fri. Some of the days we are on field trips and host families are invited to go with us. This provides unique opportunities for American students to learn about another culture. Students will arrive on July 15th and depart on August 7th.
