Spectrum Stage is creating a home for artists who’ve been underrepresented and underestimated, including q***r and gender-expansive, BIPOC, disabled and neurodivergent artists, and women, right here in the Sacramento area.

And honestly, we need to support it when it’s happening right here in our own community. 🌈

Horse Girls by Jenny Rachel Weiner is now playing at Spectrum Stage, and it’s a great chance to get out, see some bold theater, and support the local artists who are making it happen. Enjoy a wild ride with this dark comedy about girlhood, power struggles, and just how far we’ll go for the things we love.

When we show up, buy a ticket, bring a friend and share the word, we’re helping create more space for underrepresented artists and the stories they want to tell in Sacramento.

I work hard, create a LOT, and somehow have a pretty damn good time doing it. 😂 But honestly, getting to meet incredible people, discover local businesses, share their stories, and connect our community to safe spaces and LGBTQ+ inclusive businesses makes it all worth it.

And the best part? We’ve already helped local LGBTQ+ business owners get their names in front of new people and connect with new clients. ❤️

This started with an idea, but it’s becoming a growing resource for our community!
