The Pear Fair is THIS WEEKEND!! Sunday, July 27th! The weather is going to be positively pear-fect & we can’t wait to see you! See below for more info on what to expect…

🍐 Here’s what to know before you go…
- PARKING FEE: The fair has no admission fee, but there is a $20 Parking Fee. If you pay on site, please bring CASH! If you want to pay in advance with a card, purchase on our Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2025-pear-fair-tickets-1526470086119?aff=oddtdtcreator
- The parking lot is grass and dirt! Please understand that your vehicle will likely get dusty… We apologize in advance and thank you for understanding that we are a small agricultural community that can get a bit dusty.
- NO DOGS!! Unless you have a service animal, please leave your furry friends at home. We love pups, but the health department asks that we keep them off the grounds to ensure the health and safety of all our fair goers.

Shout out to .spirits for creating this pear-fectly crafted signature cocktail for the 2025 Pear Fair! We could use a little help from our 21+ crowd in giving this incom-pear-able beverage a name.

One of our wonderful volunteers made a delicious pear pie and talked about Pear Fair on GoodDay Sacramento this morning!!

The Courtland Pear Fair is an old-fashioned country fair celebrating the Bartlett pear harvest in the Delta town of Courtland. Now in its 51st year, the Fair is a beloved tradition and a true community effort—organized entirely by volunteers.

The 2025 Pear Fair is just around the corner, read on to explore some of the Pear-fect ways to participate beyond just attending on Sunday July 27th!

🏃‍♀️ 5 or 10 MILE Country Run: take your Sunday morning run to Courtland! We offer one of the last MILE runs in the region, but with scenic Delta views 🍐 Find more details about the run and sign up here: https://runsignup.com/pearfairrun

🍰 Baking Competition: bring out your best pear baked good to see if you’re selected as the 2025 winner! Winner gets bragging rights and a beautiful custom made apron. Bring your entry to the Information Booth between 11am-12pm. Include a list of ingredients, your name and phone number on a sheet that can detach from your baked good (so we can log your entry and keep it anonymous from the judges!)

🦆 Youth Duck Calling Contest put on by North Delta Conservancy - under the big tent at 11:00am! Participants will get a duck call, certificate, and their moment on stage to show us their duck calling skills!! No entry fee!

🚜 Pear-ade (Pear Parade): be sure to let us know if you’re going to be in the parade by filling out the entry form and either mailing or emailing it to us. The deadline for Royal Court applications is quickly approaching (end of the month)! If you know a 2025-2026 Senior that has love and ties to Pear Fair or the pear farming industry, encourage them to apply. We can’t wait to see the next generation of Pear Fair Royalty walk the stage at the 2025 Pear Fair on July 27th!
