After a 2 year break due to the health crisis, Pear Fair will return on July 31st, 2022! The Pear Fair is a celebration of the annual Bartlett Pear Harvest in the picturesque, Sacramento River Delta region of California. Nestled along the Sacramento River, the town of Courtland is located 20 miles south of Sacramento on scenic Highway 160. Organized and run by a committee of local volunteers, it h
as become a long-standing summer tradition in the Delta that reflects the character and lifestyle of rural life, family fun, and is a wonderful day of entertainment, festivities, food and drink shared by all who attend each year. Come join us! Celebrate the Delta’s famous fruit, along with a variety of live music, great food and wine, arts and crafts, classic cars and tractors, parade, fun rides and activities for the kids and more. The Pear Fair is a non profit organization that provides educational scholarships and helps support the Courtland Volunteer Fire Association. Admission is free. $20 parking fee for cars, $10 for motorcycles *this is a price increase in 2022, due to our production costs also increasing heavily*. Additional items to be purchased at the fair; including tickets for kids activities, food and beverages, and craft vendors who support the local and regional community. We advise that you bring CASH!! We’re a small town and don’t have great service or internet.. most vendors will accept card, but cash will be best. Parking is CASH ONLY. Parking is just a short walk from fair activities. Please note that any vehicle parked on Hwy 160 during the fair is subject to being towed at the owner’s expense.
