In California alone, there are more than 60,000 youth in foster care and in any given year more than 4,500 of these young adults will find themselves termed out of the system and facing alone, the daunting task of integrating themselves into the mainstream population. Without additional specialized training and/or skills this is a difficult task and many of these youths will become homeless (25-50

% nationwide), and/or victims of predators. A large number of those caught up in human trafficking are foster youth. Statistically less than 3% of this population will receive a college degree and more than 50% will be unemployed. We are committed to help change these statistics by providing additional resources to this population through educational and training grants.
