June is National PTSD Awareness Month, a time to recognize the invisible wounds that many service members carry long after their military service ends.
For countless troops, the challenges of combat, deployment, and military life can leave lasting impacts that are not always visible to others. PTSD affects not only those who serve, but also the families, spouses, parents, and loved ones who stand beside them every day, offering strength, understanding, and unwavering support.
This month, we honor the courage it takes to seek help, share experiences, and face each day while navigating the effects of trauma. We also recognize the families who provide encouragement, stability, and hope through the difficult moments.
At Troopathon, we remain committed to supporting our troops and veterans, raising awareness, and reminding those who struggle that they are not alone. Together, we can help foster understanding, compassion, and support for the military community during National PTSD Awareness Month and throughout the year.
