Yesterday, the Plumas County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to send a letter of support to Governor Gavin Newsom for AB 1383, which is a major step toward restoring fairness and retirement security for our public safety professionals.

On behalf of the men and women of the Plumas County Sheriff’s Employees Association, thank you to every member of the Board for your leadership, solidarity, and support for local public safety. Your advocacy matters, and it helps ensure public safety employees can retire with dignity after careers dedicated to protecting our communities.
