Rancho Cordova Jr Lancers The Youth Football Team for all of Rancho Cordova including Anatolia, Gold River, and Mather. Joining the Cordova Jr.

The Cordova Jr Lancers Youth Football and Cheer is honored to be a part of the Sacramento Youth Football League. Lancers is an great opportunity for any football player or cheerleader who will be attending Cordova Jr High to learn the CJH system and become connected with the football and cheer program. We benefit greatly from strong support and commitment from the high school, faculty and alumni.

The Cordova Jr Lancers program promotes the building of strong character, community,honor, excellence and integrity. We provide experienced coaching, skill, development, superior equipment and an emphasis on safety. The mission of the Cordova Jr Lancers is to prepare kids for Cordova Jr High School Football and promote the building of Character and Community. To accomplish this we have established four goals for the kids and our program. They are:

Emphasize fundamentals – We teach the kids basic fundamentals because they are the building blocks of success, safety and advancement in the game. Teach the Cordova Jr High System – We run the same basic offense, defense and drills as the high school program. Like CHS, we look to build young men through maximizing effort, commitment, dedication and a positive team approach while building our community. Be Safe – We have certified coaches running approved drills. Have Fun – We want our kids to return to the program and recruit their friends.
