This year, Teatro Nagual had the honor of producing Marisela Treviño Orta’s Wolf at the Door. This September, we’ll continue celebrating her work with Somewhere: A Primer for the End of Days.

Before Somewhere takes the stage, we’re excited to welcome Marisela to Sacramento for a special Playwriting Workshop.

Whether you’re an experienced writer, an aspiring playwright, or simply curious about the craft of storytelling, this is a unique opportunity to learn directly from acclaimed playwright Marisela Treviño Orta.

Friends and supporters.
For 20 years, Teatro Nagual has created programming that mesmerizes our community. As recent awardees of the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber Salud! Business award being recognized as “Corazon de la Comunidad” is a tremendous honor. Last week, we also received recognition from the Mayors office as a Non-Profit of Distinction. This week, we moved into our own space at CLARA Studios providing a welcoming environment for our teatristas to call home and prepare for shows like our upcoming, “Wolf at the Door”, directed by Angel Rodriguez and written by Marisela Trevino Orta. But we could not have done it without your support.
Tomorrow, May 7, all day, we will be reaching out for Big Day of Giving. This is your opportunity to continue to show your support as we grow into our new space and bring you the entertainment you look forward to.
