Happy Ag Fact Friday 🌱🪴

Did you know that bananas are considered a berry but strawberries are not?!

Bananas are considered a berry because they grow from one single flower with an o***y and contain tiny seeds embedded in the pulp! 🍌

Did this fact shock you?

Black Soldier Fly Larvae in Action 🌱🐛
Sharing one of my favorite garden tools with you all — Black Soldier Fly Larvae!
These incredible little recyclers are game changers because they:

• Quickly break down kitchen scraps and garden waste into rich, nutrient-dense frass (the best natural fertilizer)
• Help reduce household waste and support a healthier soil ecosystem
• Teach us about nature’s perfect cycle of decomposition and renewal
• Create “black gold” that makes our plants thrive

I’ve been learning so much incorporating them into our systems at Play, Love and Grow. Nature really does know best!

Would you try Black Soldier Fly Larvae composting? Drop a 🐛 if you want to see more!
