Moving day is now THIS SATURDAY, Sept 21...can you help? Cut Ups can really use your help to move from our temporary workspace on Del Paso Blvd to a new space right down the street. We're starting at 8:30am Sat. 9/21/19. We could use a few dollies/hand trucks too, if anyone has them to loan. We are a small nonprofit and many of our volunteers are a bit older, so we could really use your help! Teens needing service hours are welcome too, PLEASE SHARE! For more details, call/text 916-730-7814 or email [email protected]. THANKS!!!

Cut Ups' planned move into the new location today has been delayed. Many thanks to the generous people who volunteered to help today! More info on a new moving date coming shortly...

PLEASE! SHARE! NONPROFIT URGENTLY NEEDS HELP IN SACRAMENTO THIS SATURDAY. The 97-year-old head of Sacramento nonprofit needs help for a few hours on 9/14/19, this Saturday. We will be moving things out of their current location and into a storage facility. Tables, chairs, desks, metal shelving, small machinery and fabric/yarn and other supplies. Can you help or do you know someone else who can? PLEASE SHARE!

We’ll start at 8am and hopefully be done by 2pm, but if you don’t have to be there the whole time. Even helping for just a few hours would be great, or you can skip the first step & meet us at the storage place. (Any teens needing volunteer hours are welcome too!)

To sign up or for more info, email [email protected] or call/text Val at 916-730-7814.

Saturday Sept. 14 at 8am – Meet at workshop on Del Paso Blvd to load rental truck, then help unload the truck at storage facility in North Highlands.

There are facilities in Sacramento working with Alzheimer's and dementia patients. The volunteers of Cut Ups of Northern California provide special assistance, including purchasing, rehabbing and donating stuffed animals and dolls. Many studies have shown that such items are particularly helpful in improving the joy and communication skills of such patients.
