Making a Legacy

Gabriel Lopez worked in the Sacramento area as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years. He committed himself in helping others and was an advocate for education. He helped numerous family members with financial needs to help fund their education and helping them receive a college degree. As a member of Couples for Christ (CFC), a global organization recognized by Vatican for its work on the renewal and strengthening of Christian family life and values, he continued to help fund the education for other children in the Philippines through the child sponsorship program in association with ANCOP.

ANCOP is a non-profit organization, founded by Couples for Christ, with many programs that help families in need; such as child sponsorship, disaster relief, and community development programs in the Philippines. When you donate to ANCOP USA, you help fund for materials to build low cost modest houses for poor families in the Philippines, provide financial support for the education of children in the Philippines, Ecuador, Peru and Kenya, provide common facilities such as multi-purpose halls and education centers, and lastly, provide shelter, medicine, and other basic needs to those who have lost their homes and families from natural disasters.

The goal for this first year is to raise $3000. This can help fund several children’s entire education or even build a home in the Philippines. In order for this event to be a success, we would greatly appreciate any support your company can offer, whether in a monetary donation, in-kind donation, sponsorship, or in putting together a team to participate.
