It is with great sadness that we announce that our Elk Grove family has lost one of our dearest members of the Herd—longtime football coach Matt Costa (pictured here with his father, Coach Mike Costa). Coach, we cannot find the words to express how much we love and appreciate you and what you did for us. We will post funeral information as we find out. Prayers and condolences to our Costa family in this most difficult time.

The Allstar train keeps rolling today as our seniors James Minot, Lati Vaefaga, Chris Dodson, Mason Vazquez, and Dallas Fineanganofo lace up their cleats one last time as high school football players at the Optimist game! Kickoff is at 1pm at Sac City. Super proud of you guys

Greetings, Herd! EG Senior Simione Pale will be playing his last high school game in the 2023 Polynesian Bowl this evening. Kickoff is at 6pm (Pacific Standard Time) and will be aired on the NFL Network. Simi will be wearing #51 for Team Makai (gold helmets and white uniforms). Go Herd!
