Overview
From September 28 - November 6, 2022 our Stockton community will be uniting with many others from coast to coast – and internationally – for a major simultaneous pro-life mobilization – the 40 Days for Life campaign. Faithful believers across America are praying that these efforts will move forward the beginning of the end of abortion in America. Why 40 Days? God has used the period of 40 days throughout history to bring about major transformation…
• Noah experienced transformation during 40 days of rain
• Moses was transformed by 40 days on Mount Sinai
• David was transformed by Goliath’s 40 day challenge
• Elijah was transformed when God gave him 40 days of strength from one meal
• Nineveh was transformed when God gave the city 40 days to remain faithful
• Jesus transformed the world following His 40 days in the desert
• The disciples were transformed after spending 40 days with Jesus following His resurrection
What will God accomplish when people of faith across our community and beyond unite for 40 days of prayer, fasting, and witnessing in front of the Planned Parenthood to families considering abortion as their only option.

Today is Respect Life Sunday! October is Respect Life Month. Everywhere, each and every day, respecting the life and dignity of each and every life that comes into our world or is in our world is of paramount importance!

What to do? Being pro-life requires commitment, actions and words. Prayer! Fasting! Outreach!

Do what you can. If you can, spend just one hour a month or, even better, one hour a week at the sidewalk. If you cannot go to the sidewalk, pray and donate to pro-life causes.

I'll be at the sidewalk this Sunday from 1-3 PM. Planned Parenthood North Stockton is closed on Sunday.

2. I'll be collecting clean, gently-used baby and children's clothing for a free kids' clothing event in Modesto on October 10. This is for info, not an endorsement. Here are the details for this event -
