BEST youth are learning how to apply online for the Youth City job. They even learned to write their resume. Thank you Capsity co-op for allowing us to use their facilities. A BIG THANK You to the Charles Kenny McClatchy Memorial Funds for funding this workshop. And thank you for the board members and volunteers Marie Broadnax and Darrien Wriedt for helping the youth fill out the difficult application.

Kids TOO smart? Entertain their brains toward a great future!

The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Youth Program Fund is now accepting grant applications!

On April 6, 2021, the Sacramento City Council, Wexford Science and Technology, and the Regents of the University of California entered into a Community Benefit Partnership Agreement (CBA) for the Aggie Square Project. Aggie Square Developer Wexford pledged $50,000 for youth programs as part of that agreement. This has been allocated to five mini-grants of $10,000 each for STEM programs and activities, specifically geared towards youth around Aggie Square.
