We had the honor of showing up and speaking out at Equality California’s Advocacy Day! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

PFLAG Sacramento joined advocates from across the state to push for policies that protect, uplift, and affirm LGBTQ+ individuals and families. Through powerful conversations and meetings, we made one thing clear: our community deserves dignity and to feel safe.

Today, on Trans Day of Visibility 💙🤍💖, we celebrate the lives, voices, and resilience of transgender and nonbinary people in our community and beyond.

Every trans person deserves to be seen, supported, and loved exactly as they are. Visibility matters, and so does action! That means showing up as allies, advocating for equality, and creating spaces where trans people can live openly and safely.

Our Elk Grove community and support group meets tonight at 7:00 PM at 8986 Elk Grove Blvd, in the Diversity Room.

✨ PFLAG’s Mission: To create a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.

Our meetings are open to all families, friends, allies, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community seeking information, community, support, and/or clarity. Meetings are confidential, peer-supported, free of charge, and membership is not required. 💜
