Last week '26, we were proud to host the first-ever BRIC Community Corner bringing together an incredible ecosystem of creative and creator economy partners for 2 days of conversation, collaboration, learning, and connection.

This free, virtual summer program invites high school students to create and pitch an original animated TV series concept with guidance from industry pros. From concept development to final pitch, students will work in teams while building real-world storytelling and creative collaboration skills.

🗓️ Program Dates: June 30 – July 14 (virtual PT hours)
🎓 Open to high school students (10–12th grade + Class of 2026 grads)

Today, we're spotlighting Aidan Chang. With an interest in animation and experience in Human Resources and media production, Aidan combined their interests and skills as a Production Management Apprentice and HR Associate Trainee with Paramount. Through their on-the-job training, Aidan gained valuable experience producing events and directing teams.

Earn, learn & grow. That's the power of apprenticeship. As we celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2026, we're highlighting BRIC Apprentices making it happen.

Today, we're spotlighting Daewoo Koo, a CG Generalist Apprentice. Daewoo completed his on-the-job training with Walt Disney Animation Studios, specializing in 3D environment modeling. After completing his training, Daewoo was rehired to work on the studio's upcoming feature film Hexed as a Modeling Assistant.

💡 Did you know? Registered Apprenticeship is a work-based training model that allows apprentices to earn while they learn and provides a pathway to lucrative careers. During an apprenticeship, on-the-job learning is conducted in the work setting under the direction of a mentor.
