Remembering Ted Smith, former Executive Director of Sacramento YFC and a great servant of the Lord:

Dear River City Christian Family,
Pastor Ted Smith, who served for over 30 years as our Senior Pastor when we were known as First Covenant Church, went home to be with His Savior on Saturday. Pastor Ted was the father of Pastor Jesse as well as Todd Smith and Cheri Coulter. He was married to his wife Glenda for 63 years.
A man of God who was passionate about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Pastor Ted leaves an incredible legacy of leading our congregation to build the facilities at our current location and touching countless lives through his preaching, teaching, counseling, and other various forms of ministry.
Please join us in praising God for Pastor Ted’s impact on the kingdom of God and in praying for comfort for the Smith family.
“This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Last week was Sacramento YFC Camp - it was a blast! Woodleaf was great, and over 100 kids experienced life in the cool(er) mountains. Swimming, giant swing, waterslide, games, basketball, worship times and impactful lessons. Result: life change!
