Join us on March 26th for Spring into Joy as we relaunch the Joe Serna Jr. Immigrant Defense & Resiliency Fund with NorCal Resist, Opening Doors and California Immigration Project!

The Joe Serna Jr. Prize Endowment, has presented us with a $100K challenge grant. This fund has been created in memory of the late Mayor Joe Serna Jr., a lifelong champion for farmworkers, immigrants, and working families.

This is a community challenge to double our impact! The endowment will match every dollar we raise, up to $100,000.

All proceeds will provide direct financial and emergency assistance to families who have been affected by immigration enforcement. We hope you can join us, as we come together to support immigrants in Sacramento and celebrate our collective power of Joy as resistance. 💕

Good Evening FUEL Community!

Please join us this Thursday for our FUEL Quarterly Partner Meeting. This space is open to the community, and a great opportunity to learn about immigrant advocacy efforts and work being done in Sacramento.

We will be joined by California Immigrant Policy Center for a community presentation, to learn more about CIPC’s work and explore opportunities to strengthen advocacy efforts for immigrant justice!

There will be an opportunity to share community announcements, upcoming events.

I know all of our hearts are heavy right now. I hope this meeting will provide a meaningful space to hear about existing efforts and strategize with local and statewide partners, to align our collective efforts and increase the impact of our work. We hope that you can join us!

Good morning FUEL Community!

Join us next Thursday, Nov. 13th for our FUEL Service Provider Training! This 2-part training series is tailored to equip Service Providers and community leaders with tools and information to deliver accurate and consistent information to the community.

The first session covers an overview of Immigration and Policy information, as well as Know Your Rights. The second session covers Family Emergency Preparedness Assistance and prepares you walking a family through and emergency plan, in the event one or both parents are detained or deported.

You may register for one or both events.

⏰ Session 2 FEPA: 1:00pm - 2:30pm
