Something special happens when women in the community support girls in the community!

Thank you International of Sacramento, Inc. for supporting Girls on the Run of Greater Sacramento by providing this grant for new shoes for our scholarship participants.

Thanks to this grant, our girls have the opportunity to fully participate, challenge themselves, and celebrate their achievements. The confidence they gain extends far beyond the program, helping them recognize their limitless potential. We are grateful for the support that makes these opportunities possible for more girls in our community.

It's National Donut Day and we "donut" want you to miss out on the opportunity to work with Girls on the Run of Greater Sacramento.

Girls on the Run Greater Sacramento is excited to share a seasonal employment opportunity that may be a great fit for someone in our community—or someone you know.

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and enthusiastic individual to serve as the lead coordinator for our 4th Annual Golf Tournament, one of our signature fundraising events. This 13-week seasonal position offers the opportunity to work directly with nonprofit leadership on event planning, fundraising, and strategic initiatives.

This position offers hands-on experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising strategy, event development, project management, and community outreach. The selected candidate will receive direct mentorship from nonprofit leadership while helping create meaningful impact for hundreds of girls throughout the Greater Sacramento region.

Position Overview
• Duration: June 22 – September 18, 2026
• Hours: 13–15 hours per week (flexible schedule)
• Pay: $17.00/hour, additional $500 stipend provided after successful ex*****on of event
• Location: Primarily remote, with required in-person availability for tournament preparations on September 10 and the golf tournament (in Sacramento) on September 11

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the golf tournament planning and day of ex*****on
