What man of you, having a hundred sheep if he loses one of them does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5) And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6) And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost! 7) I say to yo

WHAT THE WAR IN HEAVEN WAS ABOUT: By Ivor Myers

We begin about an angel in heaven named Lucifer. We can understand that heaven was a place with perfect peace and perfect harmony. And all was in harmony to the will of God.

Ezekiel chapter 28, we read about an angel, an anointed cherub.
Ezekiel 28:14-15
[14]Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
[15]Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

Lucifer was called a covering cherub.
In order for us to understand what a covering cherub is, we need to go to the old testament where God gave Moses instructions about building something called a Sanctuary.

Hebrews 8:5
[5]Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith He, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

This is showing us that the Old Testament Sanctuary was a pattern or a shadow of heavenly things.
In the most Holy Place was the Ark of the Covenant. On either side of the Ark of the Covenant was two angels called the Covering Cherubs.

Exodus 25:17-18,20
[17]And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
[18]And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.
[20]And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.

When you see the pictures of the mercy seat, it represents the heavenly things which is God's throne or God's dominion. The Shekinah Glory (God) sat in the middle of that mercy seat.

Deuteronomy 19:15-19
[15]One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
[16]If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;
[17]Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;
[18]And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;
[19]Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.

1 Corinthians 6:2-3
[2]Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
[3]Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

When God created Adam and Eve they were the jurors. They were the kings and queens. Humanity were to be the jurors. When God created Adam and Eve, He gave them dominion. Who has dominion, but kings. When jurors are selected there is usually a criteria to be a juror.
1. Little or no First Hand knowledge of the Crime.
2. Law Abiding Citizen
3. Sound Discernment
4. Not Swayed by Public Opinion

Where was humanity when Lucifer rebelled in heaven? We weren't even created.

When Lucifer saw Adam and Eve created, he was wondering are these the ones who are going to judge me?
So if you were a criminal and you had access to the jury, what would you do? Bribe or sway the jury. Guess what Satan
Genesis 3:4-5
[4]And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
[5]For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

*gods: elohim (judges)

You shall be like gods. Just like he said to the angels in heaven. He didn't go to Eve and say, would you like to be Evil. No he said to Eve, you can be like *gods.
So when Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the forbidden tree, they lost their status as law Abiding Citizens.

Jesus comes to the garden and what do we know? That He institutes the plan of salvation. What must happen to begin the plan of salvation? To restore mankind, to be Law Abiding Citizens and sound jurors who are able to discern between right and wrong.

This is the entire purpose of the gospel. It is to restore us to be Citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven. The only way we can be citizens of heaven is if we are willing to be subjects to heaven's law.

Psalm 143:1-12 KJV
[1] Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: In thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness. [2] And enter not into judgment with thy servant: For in thy sight shall no man living be justified. [3] For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; He hath smitten my life down to the ground; He hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead. [4] Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; My heart within me is desolate. [5] I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands. [6] I stretch forth my hands unto thee: My soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. [7] Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: Hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit. [8] Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; For in thee do I trust: Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; For I lift up my soul unto thee. [9] Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me. [10] Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: Thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness. [11] Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name's sake: For thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble. [12] And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, And destroy all them that afflict my soul: For I am thy servant.
