! We're welcoming Dr. Butch Ware, the author, activist, & Green Party Candidate for Governor, for a town hall discussion about collective liberation on April 11 at 3:30pm. Tell us you're coming:
https://www.facebook.com/events/1488093486266032
Together, we can stand on the front lines against genocide, imperialism, and racial injustice. Dr. Ware is joining our afternoon of liberation-focused gatherings and will discuss these important topics with our community.
About Dr. Ware: Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Minneapolis, Dr. Ware has taught at Northwestern, the U of Michigan, and UC Santa Barbara. As a leading voice on the Black Liberation Tradition, he brings depth, integrity, and vision to the political arena as a movement builder, truth-teller, and revolutionary educator stepping up to lead.
A lifelong activist and organizer for justice, Dr. Ware was the Green Party's Vice Presidential nominee in 2024 and is now a candidate for Governor of California. For decades, he has managed international research teams on four continents while always working in service to local communities – organizing teach-ins, grassroots education forums, and standing on the front lines against genocide, imperialism, and racial injustice.
