Happy Resurrection Day! I have been on the road to recovery since January after a fall that left me with a broken right femur and an injured left shoulder, which will require further surgery soon. I am grateful for the support of everyone who has been with me throughout this healing journey. While I am not yet fully recovered, I am blessed and in good spirits as I work to regain my strength and heal properly. With some assistance, it took me a few days to prepare a real meal made with love and soul, which brought me great joy. The dinner menu included Oven Garlic Butter Chick’n with hearts of palm rice, Fresh Southern Green Beans with sausage and bakon, Mixed Yams, Sweet Potatoes, Butternut Squash Medley, Cajun Black Eyed Peas, and Five Cheese Cauliflower Bake.

Started the New Year off with Smoked Chick’n & Sausage Gumbo and Banana Pudding. Happy New Year!
