To our Gold Rush Classic teams, players, and supporters,
It is with disappointment that we have to announce that the 2026 Gold Rush Classic, originally scheduled for September 26–27, has been cancelled.
Over the past several weeks, we have been working through an unexpected field availability issue after the City of Folsom reallocated three of the fields we had planned to use for the tournament. We explored multiple alternatives throughout the Sacramento area, but unfortunately every suitable complex was already fully booked for those dates.
While this situation was outside of our control, the responsibility to deliver a quality tournament ultimately rests with us. Rather than put together an event that doesn't meet the standard our teams expect and deserve, we've made the difficult decision to cancel this year's tournament.
Any team registration fees or payments that have already been submitted will be refunded promptly. If you've already sent payment, you can expect your refund to be processed as quickly as possible.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment this causes. We know many of you have already begun making plans, and we truly appreciate your understanding and continued support.
Our focus now shifts to the 2027 Gold Rush Classic. We are already planning ahead and are committed to making next year's tournament the biggest and best Gold Rush Classic yet. We can't wait to welcome everyone back for an incredible weekend of softball.
