**Grand Marshal: Rob Roberts (he/him/they)**

A champion of q***r culture, cult cinema, and community connection, Rob Roberts has spent decades creating spaces where LGBTQ+ people can come together, celebrate, and be unapologetically themselves.

A lifelong resident of the Sacramento region, Rob has been a driving force in the local Rocky Horror community since 1998, beginning at the Birdcage Theater and helping bring regular screenings of *The Rocky Horror Picture Show* back to Sacramento in 2012 through Love Horror Events. Today, he continues to keep that tradition alive through performances and screenings with Amber’s Sweets, while also producing horror-themed burlesque and variety shows with Nevermore Gorelesque.

Beyond the stage, Rob is a Guinness World Record-recognized podcaster who spent 23 years co-hosting a groundbreaking video game podcast before retiring the project last year. Throughout his work, he has remained committed to uplifting local artists, especially q***r creators and other marginalized voices, believing that q***r joy, creativity, and visibility are powerful acts of resistance.

For his decades of community-building, advocacy, and dedication to preserving and celebrating q***r culture in Sacramento and honor Rob Roberts as a Sacramento Pride Grand Marshal.

Stay Safe in the Heat!

June in Sacramento can be hot, and we want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable Pride experience. Consider setting up the emergency contact feature on your smart phone, or carrying a card that has your emergency information on it.

Know the Signs of Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke
Watch for:
- Heavy sweating
- Dizziness or lightheadedness
- Nausea
- Headache
- Muscle cramps
- Rapid pulse
- Confusion or disorientation
- Hot, dry skin

Water Station:
Bring a reusable water bottle and take advantage of the water refill station located by the Q-Spot/Youth & Family Zone. Staying hydrated is one of the easiest and most important ways to stay safe in the heat.

Cooling & Medical Support:
Need a break from the sun? Our medical team and cooling areas will be available throughout the weekend for anyone needing assistance, hydration, or a place to rest.
If you begin feeling dizzy, weak, nauseous, confused, or develop a headache, seek help immediately.

Club 55+ Community Space
Despite the name, Club 55+ is open to everyone.
This welcoming indoor space offers a quieter environment for anyone who may be feeling overstimulated, overwhelmed, or simply needs a break from the crowds and festival activity. Stop in, cool down, recharge, and return to the celebration when you're ready.

If someone is experiencing symptoms of heat stroke, alert volunteers and medical staff immediately. Stay safe, and Happy Pride!

Grand Marshal: C-yah Envy

A powerhouse entertainer, musician, and community leader, C-yah Envy proudly represents Sacramento with heart, hustle, and purpose. Through her music, performances, and event production, she has become a driving force in creating inclusive spaces where artists of all backgrounds can be seen, heard, and celebrated.

C-yah's journey is one of resilience. Her music reflects a life shaped by perseverance, overcoming adversity, and breaking cycles that tell people to give up on their dreams. She channels those experiences into every performance, inspiring others to keep pushing forward no matter the obstacles.

A fixture in the Sacramento arts and entertainment scene, C-yah has shared stages with nationally recognized artists including DJ Unk, Dorrough, Sean Kingston, Lil Flip, Afroman, Luniz, and Michael Marshall, with whom she also collaborated on a track. Yet her greatest impact can be found here at home, where she continues to uplift local talent, champion equality, and build community through the arts.

Sacramento Pride is proud to honor C-yah Envy as a 2026 Grand Marshal for her unwavering commitment to visibility, creativity, and empowerment.

A trailblazing public servant, community advocate, and champion for equity, Rosanna made history as the first openly LGBTQ+ person elected to the SMUD Board of Directors. Throughout her career, she has worked tirelessly to advance environmental sustainability, strengthen neighborhoods, support local organizations, and create a more inclusive Sacramento for all.

From helping shape SMUD’s groundbreaking 2030 Zero Carbon Plan to supporting countless community initiatives, Rosanna has dedicated decades to public service and civic engagement. Her leadership extends across numerous boards, advocacy efforts, and volunteer roles—including serving on the Sacramento LGBT Community Center’s Welcome Home Committee, helping secure a permanent home for our community.

Rosanna’s commitment to service, visibility, and building a stronger future embodies the spirit of Sacramento Pride. Please join us in celebrating her as one of our 2026 Grand Marshals!

Just confirmed! Sacramento Pride is getting an unforgettable performance from Mama Duke, taking the Sky River Pride Stage on Saturday, June 13 at 6:00 PM!

Mama Duke isn't just an artist—she's a force rewriting the rules of music and culture. A two-time Austin Hip-Hop Award winner, two-time Austin Music Award nominee, and Recording Academy member, she's emerged as one of the most influential voices coming out of Texas today.

Fresh off her breakout run as a finalist on Season 20 of America's Got Talent, Mama Duke made history as the first female rapper to reach the show's Top 10, earning Mel B's coveted Golden Buzzer and captivating audiences nationwide with her powerful blend of lyricism, vulnerability, and unstoppable energy.

This year, Sacramento Pride is honored to recognize Alvin Prasad as a 2026 Grand Marshal. Alvin is the first of several Grand Marshals who will be recognized as part of Sacramento Pride 2026. Additional honorees will be announced later this week as we continue celebrating the individuals whose leadership, advocacy, and community impact help make our region stronger, more inclusive, and more vibrant. Alvin Victor Stuti Prasad sadly passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 58, following injuries sustained in an anti-LGBTQ+ attack in Sacramento.

Alvin was a devoted father, grandfather, son, advocate, public servant, and beloved member of Sacramento's LGBTQ+ community. He dedicated his life to showing up for others—through his work supporting affordable housing, his advocacy for equality, and the unwavering love he shared with his family.

Those who knew Alvin remember his colorful, fabulous outfits and the joy he brought wherever he went. As his daughter Andrea shared:

"Alvin was a fabulous father, grandfather and son. He put a lot of time and effort into being there for his daughters, grandkids and mother. He was a fighter—he fought for women's rights, trans rights, equality, and so much more. His colorful and fabulous outfits are what people remember him by the most."

Though Alvin is no longer with us, his spirit continues to shine through the people he loved and the community he helped build.

In Andrea's words:

"No one could dull his sparkle, so as his younger daughter, I continue to try and sparkle in his place."

This Pride, we honor Alvin's life, his legacy, and the light he continues to inspire in all of us. We are grateful that Andrea & family will join us in the march to accept this recognition on her father's behalf.
