Feeding the Foothills Feeding the Foothills is a nonprofit food bank that collects and distributes food to our hunger relief partners in El Dorado, Nevada, and Placer counties.

We are one of 200-member food banks as part of the national network of Feeding America. Our volunteers help to sort and package 8 million pounds of food distributed per year by Feeding the Foothills (formerly Placer Food Bank). Our volunteers help in the warehouse, at food distribution sites, and can even help with administrative tasks. It takes a team of helping hands to feed as many children, se

☀️ New Summer Hours for PantryToGo - Starting August 6

Summer heat calls for an earlier start. Beginning with the Cameron Park distribution on Thursday, August 6, our El Dorado County PantryToGo distributions will run from 9 to 11 AM through the warmer months. Cooler morning temperatures mean a more comfortable experience for our neighbors, volunteers and staff.

FOR THE FOOD. FOR THE FAMILIES. FOR THE FUTURE. | What happens when hundreds of kids decide to make a difference? More than 100,000 meals for neighbors facing hunger!

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible kids at Bayside Church's Breakaway Kids Camp, who raised an amazing $19,894 to support Feeding the Foothills.

Every camper, family, volunteer, and leader who contributed showed that compassion has no age limit. We're grateful for our long-standing partnership with Bayside Church and inspired by the next generation of community leaders who are already making a lasting difference.
