A huge thank you to our valued retail partner, Raley’s, for an incredibly generous donation of 9 pallets of milk — 1,691 gallons valued at $8,400!

This donation is a beautiful example of the Power of We in action. Because of partners like Raley’s, Feeding the Foothills can continue providing nourishing food, dairy, fresh produce, and essential groceries to neighbors throughout our community.

We are so grateful for the continued support and generosity that helps us serve families across Placer, El Dorado, and Nevada counties.

What a way to close out Hunger Action Month!

Through a national partnership with Feeding America, The Cheesecake Factory in Roseville donated 2,552 pounds of peanut butter to Feeding the Foothills.

Peanut butter is a nutritious, shelf-stable staple that can make such a meaningful difference for the individuals and families we serve, and we are incredibly thankful for this generous contribution.

Thank you to The Cheesecake Factory, Feeding America, and everyone who took action during Hunger Action Month to help put food on the tables of our neighbors. Every donation plays a part in fighting hunger right here in our community.

We’re incredibly grateful to Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation for a generous $5,000 grant supporting our Healthy Foundations: Foothill Fresh Initiative.

This funding helps Feeding the Foothills continue expanding access to fresh, nutritious food for neighbors throughout Placer, El Dorado, and Nevada counties through our Senior Program, School Meals Program, and Pantry to Go distributions.

On September 19, our Grants Administrator, Deb Miguel, joined the Sprouts team at their Lincoln Ferrari Ranch Road location to celebrate this generous support.

Thank you and for investing in healthier communities and helping us provide fresh food to the neighbors who need it most.

What a beautiful evening for a beautiful cause.

Our Forks & Forklifts Dinner brought together generous sponsors, friends, and community members who believe in helping feed our neighbors across the foothills.

We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us, supported this event, and continues to stand behind the mission of Feeding the Foothills. Nights like this are such a sweet reminder of what can happen when a community comes together around one table.

Farm to Family helps connect fresh produce from California farms to food banks across the state, including Feeding the Foothills. That kind of support strengthens the food safety net and helps families access healthier options when budgets are tight.
