The Camping Merit Badge Digital Resource Guide complements the Camping merit badge pamphlet, providing additional resources and support materials to enhance the Scout’s learning experience.

Great job on your !

For his Eagle Scout service project, the 17-year-old Rio Americana student led fellow Scouts and volunteers in making a wooden display case. It houses a memorial to La Sierra alumni who fell service during the Vietnam War. The plaque once hung in a reception office but was lost for decades after the school shuttered in 1983.

The new Competitive Gaming merit badge is not about spending more time in front of a screen. It’s about health, balance, online safety, teamwork, leadership and real-world careers in gaming and esports.

Scouts track their sleep, physical activity and gaming habits, play cooperatively with friends and family, explore college esports programs and investigate gaming careers. The badge even covers how to design a gaming PC.
