Western Council members gain exposure to top practitioners in our industry through our educational and training programs, Round Tables, Summits, special programs series, project tours, and conferences. Our educational events focus on best practices, current trends, capital construction, legal issues, and other topics of interest. Western Council’s committees focus on areas such as: project and construction management, legal and legislative issues, safety, alternative project delivery, public-private partnership, specialized trainings, regional program planning, and much more. Members are encouraged to be involved by championing, hosting or sponsoring programs, and participating in program planning and topic selection. Western Council’s Owners’ Project Excellence Awards program honors excellence in engineering, design and construction, as well as sustainability excellence and innovative solutions to industry problems.
